Main Window

The most important features of the main window are the two clock sliders for core and memory frequency.
You can change the frequency by dragging the sliders, entering numbers in the edit boxes or by pressing the + and - buttons.

For safety reasons changes are not applied to your clocks immediately, you will have to click “Set Clock” after changing the values. This behaviour can be changed under settings.

If you want to go back to your video card’s default clock speeds just hit the “Default” button.

The “Profile” drop-down and the buttons below it allow you to use custom profiles for your clock speeds.

The profile you have selected under “2D Profile” is loaded every time ATITool is launched.

When selected, the “3D Profile” is loaded as soon as a Direct3D or OpenGL application starts rendering frames. When the application terminates, the 2D Profile is loaded.

When “Scan for Artifacts” is clicked the spinning cube will stop moving and ATITool will continously scan the rendered image for visual errors until scanning is stopped by pressing “Abort”

If errors are detected during Scan for Artifacts the errors will be marked as yellow so they can be easily spotted.
